Smiles For Kids loves educating and partnering up with our community. We have a variety of options for you to pick from and we customize as needed.
Here are some examples of what we have done in the past:

• Health fairs in various organizations and companies
• Mom groups educational sessions

The Girl Scouts are an organization of girls that promote character, outdoor activities, good citizenship, and service to others. WOW. How awesome! This time of year you can find them around town promoting their annual fundraiser, Girl Scouts Cookies! We love doing our part to support these young ladies. If you are a girl scout, then please stop by our office so we can buy boxes of your cookies.
You can see that Dr. Lindhorst’s son Luki was very excited to buy his first box of girl scouts cookies this year!
February is National Children's Dental Health Month!
This month is about creating a healthy start for children’s oral health. If you haven’t met the fabulous Ms. Yvette yet, then be on the lookout for her at your school or daycare! She is traveling around town promoting healthy smiles! She is giving presentations to children and families about brushing, flossing, healthy diet habits, oral hygiene and what routine dental appointments are like so children don’t have to be scared! Enjoy these photos of one of her presentations to kick off the month!

Important Facts to know for children’s dental health:
Tooth decay is the most common childhood disease.
3 out of 5 children are affected by tooth decay.
It is 5 times more common than asthma.
51 million school hours are missed due to oral disease.
It is recommended to see the pediatric dentist by your child’s first birthday!
Brush your child’s teeth twice a day for 2 minutes. Then floss to clean in between the teeth. Parents should help with brushing until they can clearly write their own name.
Fluoride helps to make enamel stronger and protects teeth against cavities by fighting acid & erosion.
Dance Studios and Little Gym Deliveries!
Smiles for Kids loves giving back to our community! We recently had our team put together bags filled with goodies and delicious breakfast and delivered them to small gyms and dance studios in the Houston area. We had so much fun putting it all together! Our team also had a chance to meet new faces and introduce our office to new people!
Garden Oaks Montessori Christmas Program 2019
We so thankful for the opportunity to be able to give to others during the holiday season. Every year we adopt a family at Garden Oaks Elementary and fulfill their Christmas list. This is a time for giving and we truly hope that we made someone’s Christmas season just a little bit sweeter!

Garden Oaks Montessori Christmas Program 2018
Just like every year we are excited to adopt a family from Garden Oaks Elementary School for our Christmas project. Two of Santa’s Elves went out and delivered gifts to our adopted Smiles For Kids Pediatric Dentistry family! Our team works very hard to make sure that all our adopted kids get their wish list fulfilled. We love helping out in the community!
We wish them a very Merry Christmas and Happy 2019! We’re thankful we have the opportunity to bless this family with an amazing Christmas.

Playing Santa’s Elves!
We adopted a Garden Oaks Elementary school family to make their holidays special. We got to deliver our packages on Friday December 15, 2017.
February is Children's Dental Health Month!
Smiles for Kids represented at events around town. We had a blast educating the community about dental health and passing out goodies for the whole family!
