How Much Toothpaste Should I use?

This might be the most common question we get, and it’s a good one!

The recommended amount of toothpaste for children varies based on their age:

0-3 Years: Use a smear of fluoride toothpaste, about the size of a grain of rice.

3-6 Years: Use a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste.

7+ Years: Use a thin strip or "ribbon” toothpaste and make sure they can spit it out properly.

It's important to note that these are general guidelines, and your child's dentist may recommend a different amount based on their individual oral health needs.
